Bosnia & Herzegovina is still a relatively unexplored part of the Balkans, due perhaps to the lingering associations with the war of the 1990s and the fact that there is no coastline to speak of. However, the wealth of cultural and historical opportunities makes this a country well worth the effort of visiting, even if only as part of a holiday to Croatia or Montenegro.
