Visited Premuda in September 2017, after the main summer season had ended. Given that the island has a permanent population of around 64 and there were a maximum of ten tourists staying at the time, the place was quiet to say the least. There's nothing to do but relax - perfect!
We stayed at Apartments Spiritus Mare via Airbnb. Simple but clean and modern accommodation right in the middle of the old village, commanding superb views of the Velebit massif. For food, the Masarine restaurant has everything you could want, with the clams standing out as being particularly excellent.
Luka Loza, the old port on the eastern side of the island was deserted but for us and fabulous for snorkelling. Also, don't miss the opportunity to walk to the abandoned communist-era lookout point Garbica in time to catch the sunset. You get a panoramic view of the entire island with the sun going down over the Adriatic. Check out the pictures of this below...
