I've been to Budapest three times now and I never seem to get bored of it. The historical significance of the city, together with its hot springs and the River Danube make it a fascinating place to explore at any time of the year. Travel is cheap and easy, the food is varied and the city is nicely spaced out, so it never seems to feel overcrowded. If you're after a convenient and stylish (but not too pricy) hotel, I would strongly recommend Fashion Hotel Atrium on the Pest side of the city, near Blaha Lujza tér metro station.
